Case 1

Datagraf uses admark!translations to communicate B2B and B2C!
Datagraf is one of the biggest communications specialists in Denmark, and a loyal customer of admark!translations. Client Publishing Manager, Claus Hellstern-Krogh, called one December afternoon with a job on behalf of their client lifa design. The challenge was to create a translated version of the 66 page 'lifa life' magazine in English and Portugese, with a standard of copywriting just as high as the original.
The deadline was tight, only 1.5 working days for both versions. Wordcount was approx. 11,000 words - per language! A lot in such a short space of time. To simplify and accelerate the process, Datagraf wanted to supply the source material as an InDesign document, which meant admark!translations would have to insert the translated texts into predefined text boxes and restore the original layout. This added restriction further complicated the translation due to limited space. Both language versions were translated in translation memory program SDL Trados, to create a 'translation memory' database of the texts for future use - e.g. on lifa design's website.
The job was finished on time and to the full satisfaction of Datagraf and - more importantly - their client lifa design. Only four weeks later, Datagraf and lifa design were back. This time with lifa design's website into English. Since then, further versions of lifa life have been translated by admark!translations.
